Intelligence
Collection of intelligence is the key component of the work of a private investigator. New tools available for intelligence collection, in addition to an ability to take advantage of the information thus gathered, enable the investigation of wrongdoing and suspicion of crime, sometimes in support of the authorities. Intelligence also enables the collection of information on clients, counter-intelligence and the search for missing people and property.
